Earning its name from the roman god of the sun, the Apollo E-Bike expresses the identity of the Solsonica brand trough the chromatic composition and the logotype featured on its main frame. The “Italian Flag Badge” reinforces the national origin, assuming the Apollo as an unmistakable Italian Design product. Designed for a daily urban use, Apollo E-Bike introduces an innovative folding system, easily adapting it to any situation where space economy matters.

Dimitris Economou designed a fresh and cozy restaurant in Vari, Athens.

Greek people are really trying hard to overcome difficulties that arise from the economic crisis, keeping their smile and, as much as they can, their cheerful mood. Many habits have changed in the past two years, and one of those is that people have stopped eating in places that offer too expensive and rather than quality food. They prefer to spend their money in places worth it. This was the idea that lead Dimitris Economou to create “gefstikon” restaurant in Vari, Athens.

“Having to deal with owners that were in the food business for more than 20 years, offering economic but very quality food, we decided that they deserved a place that would not remind people of a fast food but a fresh, cozy and stylish restaurant”, explains the designer Dimitris Economou about his project. “Keeping that in mind we turned to relaxing colors and finishes such as teak wood, pastel fabrics, rattan wallpapers, many plants and atmospheric lights”.

Built for an older woman who desired a fresh start in a modern structure, Casa Mirador meets that expectation, as well as being able to meet the comforts of everyday living. Situated on a steep slope in Lima, Peru, 2.8x arquitectos built the house on three levels with the middle floor housing 75% of the project.

MiniMum bicycle is an innovative city bike by its simplicity using the minimum production effort while on the other hand providing maximum user experience. Its minimal and smart structure bike frame is made out of aluminum tubes, a single front and rear fork and a wire rope. The wire rope supports seatpost by maintaining a flexible tension towards the front of the bike, in a very elegant and light way, giving it a unique touch. Maintenance shouldn’t be an issue, it requires almost no maintenance at all. Enjoying the back pedal break and the fixed gear system with a Kevlar belt instead of a chain.

BLOOM cooking device becomes a handy tool in the kitchen. As its name suggests, this device features the form of a flower ready to bloom where those petals are made up of high strength, heat resistant, non-stick material. The round base acts as a heating surface. BLOOM is controlled via touch sensitive panel on the back of the stem, you can determine the heat, the intensity as well as the stirring action.
