Intel have officially unveiled their 2010 processor range, which brings the new Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs out to play with the recently announced Pine Trail Atom chips.  The silicon company is today outing four Core i3 processors, eight Core i5 and five Core i7 processors, all for desktop and mobile.

Based on Intel’s Arrandale and Clarkdale technology, the new chips range from the entry level Core i3-530 desktop chip, running at 2.93GHz, through the Core i5-670 3.46GHz desktop chip, and then through a larger number of mobile processors.  The top spec Core i7-670M has a base clock speed of 2.6GHz and TDP of 35W, but there are also low-power versions like the Core i7-620UE, which has a TDP of just 18W.

Differentiating the 32nm chips are things like Turbo Boost support – present on the Core i5 and i7 processors, but not the i3 range – while the 2010 processors also have onboard chipsets and GPUs.  More details at Intel’s site and in the gallery below.
